American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring a ME or compact license, EPIC and OASIS experience, and case management skills
-
Home health setting caring for adult med surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, GI, and GU patients
-
Case manages a caseload of 20-25 patients with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day
-
May also be utilized as a re-visitor if agency needs change during the contract

Day shift schedule from 0800-1700
-
Permanent Monday-Friday schedule with weekends off, plus every 4th weekend on rotation
-
No overnight call, but callback required 2-4 times a month between 1700-2000
-
Uses EPIC EMR and OASIS documentation
-
No floating required beyond a 25-mile radius float policy between facilities as needed
-
Active RN license (ME or compact) required upon submission
-
BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

EPIC and OASIS experience required

Home health experience required

Preferred experience with IV therapy, tube feeds, VAC dressings, compression wraps, port access, ostomies, chest tubes, S/p catheters, and lab draws

Driver's License required for consideration

Provide direct patient care and case management services in patients' homes across Knox County

Will be assigned agency laptop, iPhone, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, and an INR machine, all to be returned upon contract completion

Business casual attire or scrubs of any color permitted; jeans, open-toed shoes, and clothing with holes are not allowed

Candidates should be organized, collaborative, team-oriented, with strong communication and time management skills

Open to feedback for improving practice or workflow

Local candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are eligible but are not eligible for renewals or extensions
-
RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
