Grundy Center Community School District is seeking an Academic Decathlon Coach that will prepare students for competition across a variety of academic subjects while promoting teamwork, critical thinking, and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities include organizing practices, guiding students in content areas such as literature, science, math, and social science, and preparing them for objective tests, essays, interviews, and speeches. The coach will coordinate competition logistics, track student progress, and support team-building and outreach efforts. We are looking for an effective communicator who enjoys working with students and has a passion for academic enrichment.
Strong organizational skills are essential; prior experience in Academic Decathlon or related academic activities is helpful but not required.
