Location: Fawn Lake Country Club – Spotsylvania, VA
POSITION SUMMARY
The Cart Attendant / Outside Services role is responsible for supporting daily golf operations and ensuring a high level of service for members and guests from arrival to departure.
This position includes greeting guests, handling golf bags, preparing and maintaining golf carts, assisting with the driving range, and keeping all outside golf areas clean and organized.
This is a highly customer-facing role that requires professionalism, friendliness, and strong attention to detail. Golf experience is helpful but not required training is provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Member & Guest Service
- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Assist with golf bags at arrival and departure
- Direct guests to golf facilities and provide basic assistance
- Maintain a positive, service-focused attitude at all times
Golf Cart & Bag Operations
- Prepare, clean, and stage golf carts daily
- Load/unload golf bags and handle equipment carefully
- Ensure carts are clean, charged, and ready for use
- Report any cart issues or damage
Practice Facilities
- Set up and maintain driving range and practice areas
- Collect and restock range balls
- Keep practice areas clean and organized
Facility Support
- Maintain cleanliness of cart barn, bag drop, and staging areas
- Assist with tournament setup and golf events
- Support general golf operations as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn (no golf experience required)
SCHEDULE
- Part-time, flexible hours (4–8 hour shifts)
- Must be available weekends, holidays, and tournaments
- Early mornings, days, and evenings as needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing and walking for long periods
- Frequent lifting, bending, and carrying
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Repeated handling of golf bags and carts
