IXL Health & Fitness is seeking a reliable, hardworking Overnight Cleaning Specialist to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our fitness facility. This position is ideal for someone with professional commercial cleaning experience who takes pride in their work and can work independently.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly disinfect all fitness equipment and high-touch surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and sinks.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Clean mirrors, windows, and glass throughout the facility.
- Dust equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
- Restock paper products and soap dispensers.
- Ensure the gym is fully cleaned, sanitized, and ready for members before opening each morning.
- Follow all cleaning and sanitation procedures consistently.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience is required.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently and stay on task.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Must be available to work overnight, including weekends and holidays.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
