Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of bowls and smoothies with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met consistently
- Operate Square POS systems sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations to enhance their experience
- Handle cashing out customers, managing cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas according to health regulations
- Manage time effectively to handle high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and serving
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
Experience
- No experience is needed but previous barista experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and customer service in a food industry setting
- Experience using POS systems is advantageous for smooth transaction processing
- Strong skills in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and retail math to ensure accurate cash handling and sales recording
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Familiarity with the food industry’s standards for serving, food preparation, and food safety regulations is a plus
