We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly and tips. Bartenders are expected to be team players that are willing to support the venue and other staff members. As this is a wedding venue, bartending is a bit different and bartenders need to be willing to shift in this alternate setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and venue patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and make drinks
- Bartenders are also required to clear & wash glassware
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Be familiar with hooking up kegs and trouble shooting with lines if needed
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Clean and sanitize bar area, tools, glassware, and supplies at the end of each shift
- Break down and properly store bar equipment and remaining inventory
- Assist venue staff with general event clean-up to ensure the space is reset to company standards
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Excellent customer service skills and conflict resolution
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- ServSafeTIPS Certification (If you do not have it, The Grant Collection will pay for your certification)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
