A growing commercial general contractor and construction management firm is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on aviation and K-12 education projects throughout the Texas market. The company is known for its client-focused approach, operational excellence, and ability to successfully deliver complex projects in active environments.
This opportunity is ideal for a Superintendent who has experience managing highly coordinated projects with strict schedules, stakeholder involvement, and quality expectations.
What You'll Do

Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout

Manage subcontractors, site logistics, scheduling, and daily project execution

Coordinate work in active, occupied, and highly regulated environments

Conduct subcontractor meetings and maintain project production schedules

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project-specific requirements

Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and inspectors
-
Track project milestones and proactively resolve field issues
-
Drive projects to completion while maintaining budget, schedule, and quality goals
What We're Looking For
-
8+ years of experience in commercial construction field leadership
-
Previous Superintendent experience on aviation, airport, K-12, higher education, or institutional projects

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor management

Experience working in occupied facilities and phased construction environments

Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project schedules

Proven track record of delivering projects safely and on time

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ground-up K-12 schools
