We’re seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician for a flexible locums assignment in Arizona. This is a great opportunity for providers looking for a structured schedule, no call, and strong work-life balance.
Duration: 13-week contract (option to extend)
Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
Setting: Outpatient

Licensure: Any active U.S. state license accepted
The Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient clinical setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, managing both acute and chronic conditions, and promoting overall health and wellness within the community.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of adult medical conditions
Manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease
Perform routine physical exams, preventive care, and health screenings
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
Provide patient education on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
Adhere to all clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory guidelines
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Active and unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state accepted)
BLS & DEA required
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience (hospital setting preferred)
Strong Internal Medicine background
Clean malpractice history
