Job Title: Rewind/Shipping Warehouse Associate

Work Hours/ Schedule 6:00AM – 2:45PM Monday - Friday
The selected candidate will operate Rewind machines, produce high quality finished products, convert bulk rolls into
custom finished rolls, package/prepare finished orders and assist with deliveries. May be asked to do miscellaneous duties

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Examine work orders to determine details such as sample label, finished quantities, production times, packaging
specifications, and shipping requirements
- Inspect labels as they pass through the rewinding machine to evaluate quality according to specifications,
including, but not limited to, proper processes of separating non-conforming product and segregating it
- Operate rewind machinery and the tabletop rewinding machines at the required speed to ensure proper cutting
profile, alignment and rewind number
- Monitor the performance of assigned equipment (e.g. rewinding machines) to maintain specified optimal
operating levels and detect breakdowns
- Report all equipment failures to supervisor immediately
- Record specific finishing data: date, ticket number, plate number, customer name, operator name, press
operator, machine number, order quantity, rewind position, core size, final quantity, quantity defective and any
comments on the Rewind Acknowledgment Form
- Discard or reject defective labels that do not meet the requirements for print quality or product functionality,
but not before informing supervisor
- Package finished goods
- Match core and box IDs, generate shipping labels, and ensure orders are correctly documented.
- Load outbound shipments onto delivery trucks.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.
- Safely load, organize, and unload goods using equipment like dollies or hand trucks.
- Assist with deliveries.
- Enter data relevant to orders processed in the Label Traxx system
- Comply with the procedures established in the quality management system
- Timely and correctly fill out the quality control form
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform miscellaneous duties assigned by supervisor
- REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Bilingual-Spanish and English preferred
- 1-3 years of manufacturing, production or warehouse experience preferred
- Detail Oriented
- Being able to distinguish between colors
- Work with time constraints and deadlines
- Move, traverse and/or remain in a stationary position for long periods of time during an 8+ hour shift to operate
a rewinding machine with fast moving parts
- Focus or remain attentive for 1-25 minute intervals during an 8 hour shift
- Support flashing lights that can last 1-25 minutes
- Apply basic math skills using a calculator (addition, multiplication, division and subtraction)
- Safely lift, position and carry objects up to 50 pounds max
- Follow instructions: verbal, written and technical
- Must know how to use on and off switches, turning levers, attach stickers to labels, and use scissors
- Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with supervisor and team members
- Valid Driver’s License
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Pass a drug and alcohol test and a post-job offer physical exam
- Work with minimal supervision, stay focused on the job, and stay on the job
- Comply with all security policies and procedures
