Delivery Driver

CB Express LLC is looking for a dependable and professional Delivery Driver to join our furniture delivery team. We are looking for someone who is comfortable operating a 26-foot box truck, works well with a delivery partner, and understands the importance of providing excellent customer service.
This is a hands-on position involving driving, loading, unloading, and delivering furniture safely into customers' homes.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck on local delivery routes.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload furniture.
- Deliver furniture safely into customers' homes.
- Work with a delivery helper to move large and heavy merchandise.
- Verify merchandise before leaving the warehouse.
- Inspect furniture for visible damage before loading and delivery.
- Protect furniture and customers' homes from damage during delivery.
- Follow assigned routes and maintain an efficient delivery schedule.
- Obtain required customer signatures and delivery photos.
- Use a smartphone and delivery application to complete assigned stops.
- Immediately report damages, missing merchandise, accidents, or customer concerns.
- Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the delivery route.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.
- Assist with warehouse duties, loading, unloading, and furniture handling when needed.
- Follow all CB Express safety and delivery procedures.
Requirements
- Experience driving a 26-foot box truck preferred.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Comfortable maneuvering a box truck through residential neighborhoods and commercial areas.
- Furniture delivery, moving, appliance delivery, or last-mile delivery experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture with a partner.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow routes, schedules, and instructions.
- Must handle merchandise carefully and professionally.
- Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation, photos, signatures, and delivery documentation.

A successful CB Express driver understands that the job is not simply driving a truck. Drivers are responsible for the merchandise, the vehicle, the customer's experience, and completing the route safely and efficiently.
You should be able to work as part of a two-person delivery team, communicate with dispatch, solve basic delivery problems, and remain professional when interacting with customers.
