We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including engines (gasoline and diesel), transmissions, powertrains, suspension components, shocks & struts, brakes, and wheel alignments.
- Service vehicles by completing oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, brake repairs, and suspension system repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices safely and effectively during repair procedures.
- Diagnose complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive electrical systems, and heavy equipment mechanics.
- Maintain detailed service records and provide accurate auto estimating for repairs while ensuring compliance with dealership or industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive repair techniques and industry best practices through ongoing training.
Experience
- Proven experience working as an automotive mechanic in a dealership or independent repair shop environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle types including GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair and diesel mechanics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of automotive service procedures such as oil changes, brake repair, transmission repair, wheel alignment, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and suspension system repair.
- Experience working with heavy equipment mechanics or in automotive electrical systems is a plus.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools confidently and safely.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with strong mechanical aptitude ensure a positive experience for clients seeking vehicle maintenance or repairs.
