Position Summary
Cassidy Contracting is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial and residential construction projects. This position is responsible for analyzing project documents, performing quantity takeoffs, developing detailed estimates, coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing, and supporting profitable project execution from preconstruction through award.
Key Responsibilities
· Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
· Perform detailed quantity takeoffs.
· Prepare labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates.
· Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
· Prepare complete, competitive proposals.
· Coordinate with the Lead Construction Manager during preconstruction.
· Support material procurement and project turnover.
· Assist with project management activities when needed.
Required Qualifications
· Commercial and/or residential estimating experience preferably a general contractor.
· Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
· Strong construction knowledge and analytical skills.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Restoration estimating experience.
· Experience with Bluebeam and Procore.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Experience with Xactimate is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000–$120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
