Onsite Recruiter Position Summary
The Onsite Recruiter serves as the primary staffing and workforce management representative at a client location. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, managing, and supporting temporary employees while building strong relationships with client leadership. The Onsite Recruiter ensures client staffing needs are met quickly and efficiently while maintaining high levels of employee engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring
- Source, recruit, screen, and interview candidates for client positions.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future staffing demands.
- Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding activities.
- Verify employment eligibility and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug screens, and assessments.
Employee Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for temporary employees.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance.
- Address employee concerns, coaching opportunities, and workplace issues.
- Conduct employee check-ins and retention efforts to reduce turnover.
- Coordinate employee discipline and corrective action when necessary.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with client supervisors and managers.
- Attend client meetings and provide regular staffing updates.
- Respond quickly to staffing requests and workforce challenges.
- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and service.
- Partner with client leadership to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning.
Workforce Administration
- Track employee attendance and report staffing metrics.
- Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping accuracy.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the applicant tracking system and other databases.
- Prepare reports on recruiting activity, headcount, turnover, and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and safety regulations.
Business Development Support
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts.
- Communicate workforce trends, challenges, and opportunities to internal leadership.
- Support account growth initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- 3+ years of recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or workforce management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Previous experience working with an ATS.
Preferred
- Experience in staffing, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or light industrial environments.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Experience using Zenople.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk production floors and client facilities regularly.
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
