American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an LDRP position at a critical access hospital in Montana, requiring 3+ years of recent L&D experience and prior travel experience.

Critical access hospital setting with 22 total staff beds
-
Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit requiring competency across L&D, triage, and postpartum care
-
Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
-
Every other weekend required
-
On-call required once per pay period (max PRN)

Floating required between facilities within the state per unit needs
-
Charting via Epic (experience required)

Scrubs: any color; OR scrubs provided
-
Free on-site parking
-
Active Montana (MT) RN license or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP or L&D nursing experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required — seasoned travelers only

Proficiency in L&D, triage, and postpartum care required

Epic EMR experience required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

All required certifications must be current and on file

Provide comprehensive LDRP nursing care across labor, delivery, triage, and postpartum phases

Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
-
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
