ICE | PTSL Pharmacy Technicians OP C

Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, Clinical Operations, the Pharmacy Technician I – PRN Extra Help (OPC Pharmacy) will assist and support the pharmacist in the day-to-day dispensing operation of patient care. The dispensing operation includes gathering the appropriate medication, operating the automated counting machine, working the filling queue within the dispensing software, compounding medications, operating the point-of-sale system, and other duties related to dispensing medication to the patient. Duties will also include general phone or face-to-face customer service, maintaining appropriate and adequate stock in all pharmacy areas, receiving and shipping. The Pharmacy Technician I will prioritize work based on immediate need and rapidly changing workload. The Pharmacy Technician I will work as a team member to efficiently, accurately perform day-to-day work along with any additional tasks or projects to help achieve departmental goals. The Pharmacy Technician I will assist the Technician II and Technician III as it relates to day-to-day dispensing functions, tasks, and job duties to provide timely and efficient patient service.
