Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Manage high-volume drink orders efficiently using POS systems such as TOAST POS
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders via directly at the bar or table
- Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Prepare food items according to recipes and safety standards while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, and plating for both bar and kitchen stations as needed
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments, and manage POS operations seamlessly
Skills
- Extensive cocktail experience with knowledge of spirits, wine, and beverage presentation techniques
- Proven ability to work efficiently in high-volume environments while maintaining quality standards
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and giving correct change
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively between bartending, serving, cooking, and cleaning duties
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members efficiently
- Hospitality mindset focused on guest relations and creating welcoming atmospheres
