Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Lot Porter to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for vehicle arrivals and departures, ensuring smooth operations at our dealership or retail location. As a Lot Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the lot, assisting with vehicle movements, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties
- Safely move and park vehicles using manual transmission or automatic transmission as required, ensuring proper placement within designated parking areas
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including sweeping, washing, and minor detailing of vehicles when necessary
- Assist with vehicle inventory management by tracking vehicle locations and updating records accurately
- Support dealership staff with delivery driver responsibilities, including transporting vehicles between locations or to service areas
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth operations and outstanding guest services
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles required
- Knowledge and ability to navigate tight spaces confidently
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift moderate weights, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
