As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you’ll be the glue that keeps each deal moving forward. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Loan Officers and Underwriters to ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant for a smooth loan experience.
Responsibilities
- Review mortgage loan applications and verify all required documentation
- Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, title companies, and appraisers
- Submit files through lender portals and track progress through funding
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
- Collaborate with underwriting and closing departments to ensure timely closings
Qualifications/Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
- Minimum of 2 -3 + years mortgage processing experience
- Certifications: Any relevant mortgage processing or industry certifications - a valid Loan Originator License is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of lender portals and loan originator software (LOS) such as Lodasoft or Encompass
- Strong disclosure experience using encompass
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a strong sense of customer service
- Ability to manage multiple files with precision and professionalism
