Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
- Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and changes in residents’ conditions using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
- Provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer’s care, employing techniques such as aseptic procedures and behavioral health strategies to promote safety and well-being.
- Support residents during meals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration while respecting individual dietary needs.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to document medical records accurately, including medical terminology and physiology-related observations.
- Maintain infection control standards through proper use of PPE and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
- Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or gait belts to promote independence safely.

Qualifications
- Current CNA certification with active state licensure.
- Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, or memory care environments preferred; experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care highly valued.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as PointClickCare; medical documentation skills essential.
- Knowledge of vital signs measurement, catheter care, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS).
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
