American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in San Antonio, TX, with OR circulator experience required and a TX or compact RN license.

General Surgery OR unit in a hospital setting

Circulator role; OR circulators specifically sought

Mid-shift schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Full-time, 13-week contract

Active RN license in TX or via compact licensure

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)

Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required

BSN preferred

SSN required for consideration

Provides routine and complex nursing care within the OR, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation for assigned surgical patients

Administers medications and treatments per protocol and monitors for side effects and therapeutic effectiveness

Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided

Assesses and addresses patient and family education needs, including psychosocial and cultural considerations

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates are not accepted on this position
