Summary: Seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer with expertise in Creo software and mechanical design for industrial machinery and equipment.
- Requirements:
- BS preferred; associates with experience considered
- 7-10 years of mechanical design experience
- Proficiency in Creo software, version
5.0 or newer preferred - Engineering experience in capital equipment or industrial machinery
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Windchill or other PDM systems
- Experience in structural steel design, weldments, industrial motion systems, and mechanical power transmission
- Responsibilities:
- Design welding and assembly positioners, jigs, and fixtures
- Study specifications, blueprints, tool orders, and shop data
- Collaborate with engineering and shop personnel to resolve design issues
- Create preliminary sketches and detailed layout drawings
