Responsibilities
- Actively source and engage potential childcare providers through various channels such as job boards, community events, and social media platforms.
- Conduct interviews with prospective caregivers, assessing their qualifications, experience, and passion for working with children.
- Promote the organization’s values and standards during recruitment events and informational sessions to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with education administration teams to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of applicant interactions, interview outcomes, and onboarding progress using applicant tracking systems like Ellucian or similar platforms.
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience from application to onboarding.
- Assist in developing training materials or workshops related to best practices in childcare and education standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruiting, preferably within education administration or childcare sectors.
- Strong public speaking skills to confidently present information at recruitment events or orientation sessions.
- Familiarity with Ellucian or comparable student information systems used in university or educational settings.
- Knowledge of teaching methods, academic advising, and working with students is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse candidates and stakeholders.
- Experience working within university environments or educational institutions is a plus.
- Passion for working with children and understanding of early childhood development principles. Pay: $24.14 - $29.08 per hour
