DPI Staffing is hiring Event Drivers to support our customers’ exciting events. If you enjoy being on the road, working hands-on, and helping bring events to life, this is the job for you!
Job Title: Events Driver
Location: NE Portland, Oregon
Wage: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour + Overtime
Schedule: Full time
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Overtime/some weekends
Key Responsibilities:
As an Event Driver, you’re a key part of making events happen from start to finish:
- Load/unload using pallet jacks and forklifts, and transport event gear to and from venues
- Set up and break down branded equipment onsite
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain DOT logs
- Ensure safe, timely delivery of all products and assets
- Operate trucks (up to 24’) safely and follow all traffic regulations
- Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and clients throughout the day and report delays, issues, or incidents promptly
- Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate 24’ trucks
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Experience with pallet jacks and/or forklifts preferred
- Strong knowledge of local routes and road safety
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
