The Payroll Specialist works with Human Resources and the Director of Finance and Operations to process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees with a wide range of deductions. Oversee the entire payroll process Reconcile and submit retirement deductions to various agencies Generate reports to be audited and signed Take ownership of entering and validating deductionsThe Accounting Specialist portion of this role is primarily bank reconciliations. This includes: Preparing Journal entriesResearching discrepanciesAssisting in the end of year audit Qualifications: Must have 3+ years of relevant municipal experience Software experience with MUNIS and/or School ERP (Infinite Visions) is highly preferred.
