Respect MO Voters is a cross-partisan, volunteer-led campaign working to protect Missouri's citizen initiative process. We organize, educate, and engage volunteers across the state in support of a proposed constitutional amendment for the November 2026 ballot.
Description
We are hiring one Regional Field Organizer per Missouri Congressional District (8). The Regional Field Organizer is responsible for organizing volunteers for door-to-door canvassing, event canvassing, and voter outreach efforts throughout their assigned congressional district. You will be responsible to recruit, support, and coordinate volunteer canvassers and volunteer leaders to ensure strong coverage and accomplish your responsibilities.
The Regional Field Organizer will:
- Identify, list and and coordinate upcoming canvassing opportunities, including community events and neighborhood canvasses.
- Recruit volunteers to fill canvassing shifts, ensuring they are filled.
- Coordinate canvassing materials, walk packets, literature, and other field supplies.
- Ensure canvassing data is entered accurately into VAN and other campaign systems.
- Track volunteer participation and help maintain communication with active canvassers.
- Establish & run VPBs while also making calls yourself.
- Assist with voter education events, tabling opportunities, and other field activities throughout the region as needed.
Qualifications
The Regional Field Organizer should be comfortable managing volunteers, coaching new canvassers, and creating a positive volunteer experience. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, can adapt to changing priorities, and is motivated by building an active volunteer team.
Requirements:
- To have consistent and reliable transportation.
- Have a working phone, and a willingness to make calls and texts.
- Have a functioning laptop.
- Experience using VAN or another voter database, or a willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with volunteer and staff leadership.
Schedule
This is a full-time commitment, requiring a flexible schedule. Regular evening and weekend availability is expected, as those are the primary times volunteers canvass and community events take place. Travel throughout the assigned congressional district will be required 25-50% of the time.
Salary Range
- $3,334 - $5,000/month.
- Salary will depend on relevant experience with campaign work and management.
Pay: $3,334.00 - $5,000.00 per month
