Family Practice Provider
Seeking a qualified and compassionate Family Practice Physician with Obstetrics to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics in an outpatient setting, along with Nursery/Newborn call in our outstanding Birth Center.
Clarion Family Practice Clinic has two Physicians providing OB care and partner with four OB/GYN Physicians and one Pediatrician to provide care in Iowa Specialty Hospital Birth Center and Maternity Ward. Nursery call rotation is required. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a collaborative, team-based environment that values innovation and continuity of care.
Responsibilities: Provide routine and preventative care, as well as diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including nurses, specialists, behavioral health providers, and care coordinators. Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Required: MD or DO, with appropriate state licensure. Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Practice. Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
This role is supported through funding from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)* and is intended to attract experienced providers who are relocating to and establishing residency in our rural service area. Qualifications:

Required:

MD or DO, with appropriate state licensure.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine (or relevant certification for NP/PA).
