Premier Martial Arts Fairwood is seeking an energetic and passionate Martial Arts Instructor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced martial artist who is passionate about making a positive impact and helping students of all ages develop fitness, confidence, discipline, leadership, and life skills through martial arts.
As a Martial Arts Instructor, you will work closely with our Instructor Team and Program Director to deliver a best-in-class student experience, while serving as a mentor, coach, and role model for our members and their families. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire students, develop future leaders, and create a positive training environment where individuals can grow both on and off the mat.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
· High-level proficiency in one or more martial arts disciplines.
· At least 2 years of martial arts teaching or coaching experience with students of varying ages and skill levels.
· Strong instructional and demonstration skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
· Excellent verbal communication and classroom management abilities.
· A professional, dependable, and growth-oriented attitude.
· The ability to receive feedback, implement coaching, and continually improve.
· Availability to work afternoon/evening studio hours and Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Student Development
· Lead high-energy, engaging martial arts classes for children, teens, and adults using Premier Martial Arts curriculum and teaching systems.
· Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
· Serve as a mentor and role model while reinforcing character development and leadership skills.
· Monitor student progress and provide coaching that helps students achieve their goals.
Program Administration
· Manage student ranking records, belt testing, graduation ceremonies, and progress tracking.
· Assist with class scheduling, facility cleanliness, inventory management, and studio organization.
· Maintain accurate student records and support operational excellence.
Student & Community Engagement
· Lead engaging trial classes that showcase the Premier Martial Arts experience, build excitement with prospective students and families, and support new member enrollment.
· Drive student retention and long-term member engagement by delivering exceptional instruction, monitoring student progress, and fostering a positive, supportive training environment where students can thrive.
· Build strong, lasting relationships with students and parents through consistent communication, encouragement, and outstanding customer service.
· Represent Premier Martial Arts at community events, demonstrations, and promotional activities, helping strengthen the school's presence within the community.
Professional Development
· Participate in ongoing instructor training, leadership development, and curriculum education.
· Continuously develop instructional skills and knowledge of Premier Martial Arts systems.
