Job Summary
Guiding Light Speech Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our clinic and school setting!
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective speech therapy sessions based on individualized education plans
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations
- Edit, and maintain students AAC devices
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care for students
- Educate families on communication strategies and techniques to support their child's development.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred, particularly in school settings or early intervention programs.
- Experience working with students with complex communication disorders is preferred
- Experience working with students with BIP's is preferred
- Experience with augmentative and alternative communication is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
