Hours of Job
- Part time, 20 hours per week.
- Hours vary from 5:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m., 6:15 a.m. - 6:15 p.m., 8:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
- Weekend Rotation is required.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Creates a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while pre-admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, family or visitors, serving as entity resource.
- Registers inpatient and outpatient when needed.
- In addition, obtains necessary signatures, completes paperwork, and distributes correctly.
- Checks and rechecks all paperwork before it leaves the area for complete information and accuracy.
Requirements
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience
- Previous Admitting/Registration experience required.
- Knowledge of medical insurances preferred.
