This Charlotte based manufacturing organization is looking to the future, having established themselves as an industry leader, they are undergoing a period of expansion and growth and with plans in place for new departments and facilities, they are looking for a Plant Engineering Manager to take a leadership position
In this role you will own the maintenance and engineering systems from the top. You will be leading a team including managers, planners and technicians, and responsible for setting priorities, define KPIs, develop training plans, oversee capital projects and work with the team to move towards a more reliability and preventative maintenance environment.
You will be a Maintenance or Engineering Manager, who can implement change and improvements. You will come from a manufacturing background with knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.

The Role:
- Lead and develop a team of maintenance managers, planners and technicians
- Own the maintenance system - set KPIs, build training programmes, and drive reliability improvements
- Responsible for all maintenance from reactive through to preventative
- Work in conjunction with leadership across multiple areas
The Candidate:
- Maintenance or Engineering Manager from a manufacturing environment
- Have lead and developed maintenance systems, reliability and improvements across a department
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance
