Overview
East Texas Bridge is currently hiring for a concrete batch plant operator. Ideal candidate would be experienced in running a portable concrete batch plant. Specifically, Vince Hagan batch plants. Must be familiar with command Alkon batch systems, concrete mix designs, ordering and scheduling of materials as well as preventative maintenance of concrete plants.
The ideal candidate would also be familiar with erecting and moving portable concrete plants as well as relevant safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor concrete mixing equipment, including mixers, silos, and feeders, to produce consistent concrete batches according to mixture design specifications.
- Manage heavy machinery such as loaders, forklifts, and other heavy equipment to transport raw materials, deliver finished products, and perform equipment maintenance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software to assist in fabrication and construction tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment, perform basic repairs, and coordinate with maintenance teams for more complex repairs or welding tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards by adhering to safety protocols during all operations, including power tool safety and heavy lifting procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, mixture recipes, equipment maintenance logs, and safety inspections.
- Assist in the fabrication of concrete forms and structures using hand tools and machining techniques while following blueprint specifications.

Pay: $25.17 - $30.31 per hour
