Located just steps from The Americana, our restaurant combines traditional Japanese flavors with modern design to offer guests a warm, sophisticated, and unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft & Service: Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, beer, wine, and sake with precision, consistency, and speed.
- Guest Engagement: Provide exceptional service to guests at the bar, offering expert recommendations based on extensive product knowledge and a warm, professional demeanor.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station at all times.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the bar team and floor staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for every guest.
- Bar Prep: Assist with daily prep (juices, garnishes, syrups) and ensure all opening/closing duties are completed to standard.
- Compliance: Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards (RBS).
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of bartending experience in an upscale or high-volume environment.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in classic cocktail techniques and premium spirits.
- Interest: A passion for (or curiosity about) Japanese spirits, sake, shochu, and Asian flavor profiles is highly preferred.
- Attitude: A team-first mindset, excellent multitasking abilities, and a polished, professional appearance.
- Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid California RBS certification.
