Position Overview
LBR-RAS is seeking an experienced Case Manager to review and audit rehabilitation case management invoices for compliance with client-specific billing guidelines, documentation standards, and industry best practices.
This position is ideal for an individual with Workers' Compensation case management experience who enjoys analytical review work rather than direct field case management.
This position plays a key role in helping insurance carriers, TPAs, self insured employers, and municipalities maximize the value of their case management programs through objective audits and actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review rehabilitation case management invoices for billing accuracy and guideline compliance.
- Apply client-specific billing guidelines and fee schedules.
- Identify excessive, unsupported, duplicate, or non-billable charges.
- Analyze time and expense entries for reasonableness and documentation support.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate audit findings with internal team members as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a WC Field and/or Telephonic Case Manager.
- Strong understanding of Workers' Compensation rehabilitation services and billing practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- CCM, CRRN, or related certification preferred.
