Driver – Gonell's Transportation & Multi Services
Overview
Gonell's Transportation & Multi Services is seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Driver to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous private transportation services for airport transfers, local transportation, medical appointments, special events, and other transportation needs throughout Ocean County and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional appearance, and ensuring every passenger enjoys a safe and comfortable travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles while transporting passengers to and from airports, medical appointments, special events, and other destinations.
- Provide door-to-door transportation services in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist passengers with luggage, mobility devices, and other reasonable transportation needs.
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and customer updates.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns.
- Ensure vehicles remain clean, fueled, and presentable at all times.
- Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate trip records and mileage logs as required.
- Represent Gonell's Transportation & Multi Services in a professional manner when interacting with customers, healthcare facilities, airports, hotels, and community partners.
- Protect customer confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License.
- Clean driving record.
- Minimum age of 25 years.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to use GPS and navigation applications.
- Ability to assist passengers with luggage and perform moderate lifting when necessary.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Bilingual- English/Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in private transportation, airport transportation, rideshare, limousine service, non-emergency medical transportation, or customer service.
- Familiarity with Newark (EWR), JFK, Philadelphia (PHL), and Atlantic City (ACY) airports.
- Experience working with seniors and individuals requiring additional assistance.

- Competitive percentage-based compensation per completed trip.
