Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our Food Truck, providing exceptional customer service while handling transactions and assisting with various store operations. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive shopping experience will be key to your success in this position.
Duties
- Travel to events
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Engage to enhance the customer experience and promote store products.
- Expedite orders and make ice cream treats
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and store operations.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer questions or inquiries.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels throughout the Food Truck.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments or Fast Food is preferred.
- Familiarity with cashiering duties, including cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
