Chef Dane Catering creates thoughtful, seasonal cuisine for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations across the Seattle area. We’re seeking a Dishwasher / Prep Cook who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume catering kitchen and assist with both hot and cold production.
This role is perfect for a culinary professional who enjoys variety, precision, and consistency while supporting large-scale catering operations.
What You’ll Do
- Support prep and production for off-site catering events as needed.
- Follow Chef Dane’s recipes and production standards with consistency and attention to detail.
- Bake, decorate, plate, pack, pastries and other baked goods
- Portion, pack, and organize products for high-volume catering.
- Occasional ingredient sourcing and shopping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation.
- Label, date, and store products according to health department standards.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen leadership about prep lists, timelines, and priorities.
- Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines without compromising quality.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Pastry experience is required.
- Catering experience is preferred.
- Comfortable with high-volume and cold production prep.
- Experience scaling recipes for large events.
- Available to work weekends and occasional nights for events.
- Spanish-speaking a plus.
- Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Schedule & Location
- Thursday - Saturday 7:00 - 3:00pm, may change depending on events
- Weekend availability required; some nights for events as needed
- In-person in Lynnwood, WA and the greater Seattle area as needed for events.
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
