Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites or during remodeling projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Operate power tools, hand tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations or repairs
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and field service personnel to coordinate project tasks
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Requirements
- Proven construction site experience with a strong background in construction plumbing and remodeling projects
- Valid journeyman plumber certification or equivalent mechanical licensing
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems
- Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, HVAC systems, and schematic interpretation
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery safely in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting plumbing issues
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing components as well as general construction practices such as carpentry and handyman tasks
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders/scaffolding, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for field service assignments
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in installation and maintenance tasks

Pay: $29.65 - $35.71 per hour
