We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of pets while providing exceptional grooming services. Your expertise will help maintain the appearance and hygiene of our furry clients, contributing to their overall happiness and comfort.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Utilize proper animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both pets and staff during grooming sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools and workstations.
- Provide basic pet care, including nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
- Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming needs, pet behavior, and any health concerns observed during grooming.
- Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring a positive experience for both the animals and their owners.
- Assist in kennel duties as needed, including feeding, walking, and monitoring the health of pets.

- Answer phones and make appointments
Skills
- Proficient in pet grooming techniques for various breeds.
- Knowledge of animal restraint methods to ensure safety during grooming procedures.
- Experience in pet care practices including dog handling and training.
- Familiarity with veterinary technician responsibilities is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy animals safely when required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners.
