Vinson Animal Hospital at Towson, Inc. is seeking Veterinary Nurses (Technicians)
We are a thriving small animal hospital in Towson, MD and provide excellent medicine and care to our patients. We practice a team approach within our hospital. Prior veterinary technician experience and excellent animal handling is preferred. Duties include, but are not limited to, patient care and handling, assisting with appointments, surgery and dental procedures, radiology, laboratory procedures, venipuncture, client education, medical records entry and pharmaceutical dispensing. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, are essential to this position.
Hourly pay depends on experience and skill level.
Hospital hours are Monday 8:00 am to 6:30 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm; and Saturdays 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Some weekend and holiday hours will be required.
Typical work week is 30-40 hours.
