EZ Scripts Pharmacy is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team in Houston, TX . This is a remote position and the selected individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Your Tasks
- Use consultative selling to cultivate relationships within the TX Worker Compensation (aka WC) legal, medical, union and other communities related to
- Learn the "ins and outs" of the Texas WC system, and apply that knowledge to finding a custom solution for each account
- Network, and then network some more
- Develop and cultivate new leads, and ultimately convert those leads into new accounts
- Develop and execute your own territory plans (you won't be "micro-managed")
- Be both a "hunter" and a "farmer." In other words, you'll be tasked with growing your existing client base and also developing new sources of business
- Multitask, troubleshoot and respond quickly to your accounts' needs
- Use technology, like SalesForce, Concur and Motus to complete your daily tasks
- Be available for networking events that occur at night and/or on weekends.
- Travel extensively within your sales area and attend statewide or national events
- In short, you'll work remotely and perform independently. You'll manage your territory like it's your own business
Job Requirements
- At least one year of B2B sales required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must have ability and means to travel throughout your sales territory on a daily basis
- Must have MS office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel) and be willing to learn new software applications (Salesforce) as needed.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be a team player and display a positive attitude.
- Must be a quick learner and an even better listener.
- Bachelors degree is preferred, though not required.

- Winning sales awards at your current or previous employer
- Experience in the TX Worker's Compensation system
- Territory planning experience
- Experience using a CRM platform, like SalesForce
We offer competitive benefits, phone allowance and mileage reimbursement.
The base salary is $50,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience) annually, PLUS true, uncapped monthly commissions.
