We work with high-net-worth individuals, Schedule C filers, and small business owners who actually want strategic tax advice, not just a return dropped in their inbox in April. We've ditched the paper, the shared logins, and the outdated systems — running on QuickBooks Online, TaxDome, Lacerte, and AI-forward tools that let our team focus on the work that actually matters. And we're growing fast through acquisitions, which means real opportunity for the right person to grow with us.
What You'll Do:
- Lead review on complex individual, partnership, S-corp, and fiduciary returns (1040, 1120-S, 1065, 1041)
- Build and mentor a team of preparers and seniors — set the technical bar, don't just meet it
- Be the go-to advisor for our HNW and complex clients, driving real planning conversations, not just compliance
- Spot opportunities the client didn't even know to ask about
- Own tax season execution: workflow, capacity, deadlines, no fire drills
- Help shape firm-wide standards as we scale
- Bring fresh thinking on tax law changes and turn it into action for the team
What You Bring:
- CPA required
- 7+ years in tax, with real experience reviewing and signing returns
- Deep technical chops across individual, business, and fiduciary taxation
- Experience leading or mentoring a team
- Fully comfortable in a paperless, tech-forward practice
- The instinct to plan ahead, not just file on time
- Strong client presence — especially with HNW individuals and business owners who expect a real advisor
