What to Expect
The Federal Programs Administrator provides independent management of federal and state funded programs for multiple school districts. They work with internal and client staff performing grant management, financial analysis and reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. This work includes the overall assistance and implementation of compliance to grant guidelines, budget alignment to grant award, and the accounting and reporting responsibilities for grants.
What You’ll Do
- Assists Federal and State funds management and reporting – Title funds, Special ED funds, Children Nutrition Programs and Others.
- Assists Executive Director with the compliance and oversight process and budget development.
- Research publications and Internet sites to remain current on all provisions of the Every Student Succeeds (ESSA) Act.
- Assist Superintendents with budget development utilizing state and federal funds.
- Develop, write, coordinate, and assist with the implementation of Title I programs and instructional curriculum.
- Collect necessary information for the applications and compliance reports.
- Periodic review of budgets to approve and monitor expenditures and programs to ensure compliance with federal requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in grants field.
- Knowledge regarding Every Student Succeeds Act federal legislation.
- Experience in school fund accounting required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
