Position Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Loader to support our daily logistics activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing freight while helping maintain an efficient and safe warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, pays close attention to detail, and performs well in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight, materials, and inventory safely and efficiently.
- Move products throughout warehouse and storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Organize shipments and materials to maximize warehouse efficiency.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing freight for quantity, condition, and proper identification.
- Secure cargo to minimize the risk of damage during transportation.
- Operate pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and similar material-handling equipment.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, preparing outbound shipments, and staging freight.
- Keep workspaces clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all company safety policies and established operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure daily workload is completed on schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in loading, warehousing, shipping, receiving, or material handling is preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds on a routine basis.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to accuracy, organization, and workplace safety.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work a full-time schedule with overtime opportunities as business needs require.
