Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, taking their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accuracy with retail math and basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces following food safety regulations.
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment.
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and proper storage to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environments will help you succeed.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly valued.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store operations, or retail math are beneficial.
