Position Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and driven Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll support individuals resolving their accounts in a respectful and empathetic manner while helping them move forward financially. We value empathy, persistence, and strong communication skills- qualities that lead to success in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service with a compassionate approach
- Negotiate payment arrangements with professionalism and empathy
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to and from consumers regarding their accounts
- Use computer systems confidently to manage account details and updates
- Document consumer interactions clearly and accurately
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy
- A persistent yet respectful approach
- Organized, dependable and detail oriented
- Comfortable working on computers and multiple software
- Experience in collections or customer service is a plus
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
