Overview
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Lead Teacher Assistant Director to spearhead educational excellence within our vibrant learning community. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate curricula that meet educational standards and promote student success.
- Oversee daily classroom operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all students.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff and assistant teachers, providing guidance on instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to craft strategic plans that support program growth and community engagement initiatives.
- Manage program budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to enhance educational quality.
- Coordinate fundraising efforts to support program activities, facility improvements, and special projects.
- Facilitate public speaking engagements and community outreach to promote the program’s mission and achievements.
- Ensure compliance with all education policies, licensing requirements, and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching or classroom management within early childhood or K-12 education settings.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development tailored to diverse learner needs.
- Prior management or supervisory experience leading teams of educators or administrative staff.
- Strong background in education administration, strategic planning, and budgeting processes.
- Experience in fundraising activities or grant writing to support educational programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire staff, engage families, and speak confidently in public forums.
