About:
This role provides leadership over the financial reporting and controllership functions for a $750M+ revenue organization, including oversight of financial reporting, tax, payroll, plant accounting, and internal controls.
In addition to core controllership responsibilities, the VP, Finance & Controller leads financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning, and delivers insights that support business performance and operational decision-making. This role partners closely with senior leadership to enhance financial discipline, evaluate performance, and support the Company’s strategic and operational objectives.
High Level Keys:
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of 8; create high performing teams
- Oversees/Reviews: Financial Reporting, Tax, Internal Controls, Payroll Accounting, Leads FP&A activities
- Develop/Implement Internal Controls – Coordinate SOX compliance efforts
- Manage operating plan & monthly forecasts
- Partner with Credit Manager on credit analysis/risk management function
- Manufacturing, Cost Accounting, Plant Accounting oversite
- IFRS
- Multi-national environment
- M&A & integration activities a plus
- Review Sales & Use Tax
- Travel – 10-15% to other Plant/Operational locations
