Genesis Environmental Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. We are a leading environmental remediation, civil construction, excavation, and industrial services contractor serving clients throughout the Midwest.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a fleet of heavy construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and support vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems on heavy equipment and trucks.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Inspect equipment for safety and operational compliance.
- Coordinate parts procurement and inventory management.
- Assist with equipment mobilization and field service repairs when required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains.
- Experience with excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, dump trucks, and trailers preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical diagrams.
- Valid driver's license required.
- CDL Class A license is a plus.
- Welding and fabrication experience is beneficial.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $37.50 - $45.00 per hour
