Administrative Assistant & Flex Benefits Coordinator
Job Purpose
The Administrative Assistant & Flex Benefits Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the financial advisors while also assisting with the coordination of employee flex spending programs for school-system clients. This role ensures efficient office operations, accurate benefits administration, and positive experience for clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and record keeping.
- Assist with client inquiries.
- Coordinate flex benefit enrollment, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain and update client records and databases.
- Prepare reports, forms, and communications for clients and internal use.
- Assist in compliance with regulatory requirements in benefits administration and financial services support.
- Support day-to-day office operations such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, delivering professional and courteous service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Customer service mindset with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Willingness to learn benefits administration and financial services processes.
