Position Overview:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to focus primarily on transactional matters, with select estate planning and probate work as needed.
This position requires someone who can conduct client consultations, draft transactional documents to a high standard, and manage matters independently while maintaining regular communication with the managing attorney.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable offering thoughtful input on structure and strategy while working within established firm systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct client consultations to assess business and transactional needs.
· Draft and review contracts, purchase agreements, operating agreements, and related transactional documents.
· Customize deal structures and agreements based on client goals and industry-specific requirements.
· Review and revise documents to meet high drafting standards.
· Oversee due diligence processes and sign filings or closing documents as needed.
· Provide strategic input on deal structures and client solutions.
· Assist with select estate planning and other legal matters when appropriate.
· Maintain organized case files and coordinate with paralegal and administrative staff.
Qualifications:
· 2–5 years of legal experience preferred.
· Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage client consultations independently.
· Analytical mindset with sound legal judgment.
· Comfort working within structured systems while contributing thoughtful input.
· Cultural competency and professionalism when serving diverse client communities.
· Florida Bar license required and in good standing.
Work Environment:
· Primarily in-office position in Tampa.
· Potential hybrid flexibility after initial training period.
· Administrative support and eventual paralegal support available.
· Emphasis on quality work product and client satisfaction.
· Collaborative but high-standard drafting environment.
Compensation & Growth:
· Base salary: $75,000–$100,000 depending on experience.
